Sheptytska L. Public and political activities of Stepan Baran (1879–1953)

Object: public-political activity V. Baran in the context of political processes which took a place in Western Ukraine, and also – in the environment of Ukrainian emigration in the first half of XX century. Aim: research of social and political activity of Stepan Baran in the context of Ukrainian political life of the first half of XX century. Methods: problem-chronologic, comparative-historical, retrospective, logical. Results: first social and political activity of S. Baran is probed in Ukrainian historiography – the known politician, journalist, legislator – on a background public processes which took a place in Western Ukraine in the first half of XX century, in the Ukrainian emigrant environment after Second World War. Sphere of the use: scientific, educational, practical political.
