Komarnytskyi Y. Publik and political activity of Vasyl Mudryi (1893-1966).

Public and political activity of Vasyl Mudryi - one of the Ukrainian political figure in Galychyna in the first half of the XX century is studied. The formation and evolution of Mudryi's world outlook is retraced. His role in the activities of social organizations in the Western Ukraine and his influence on action of magazine "Dilo" are exposed. Activities of Vasyl Mudryi as a head of UNDO and UPR and as a deputy of polish parliament are marked. His role in the political realization of normalization of the Ukrainian-Polish relations and participation in the public and political life of the Ukrainian Diaspora are lighted. Vasyl Mudryi's important contribution to the processes of creation of Ukrainian nation and development of national self-awareness among the population in the Western Ukraine are substantiated.
