Ovsiyenko S. NRU activity in the conditions of crisis in the party (1997 - 2002)

The principal propositions and results of the research are made on the basis of impressive historical sources. The work shows the extent of scientific development of the given theme. The origin of the "split" in NRU, its course in 1999 and its consequences are highlighted. The problem of legitimacy of two parts of NRU and combined efforts of NRU members after a "split" are examined. The work shows election campaigns in 1998, 1999, 2002 with the participation of NRU members in it and influence of inner-party crisis processes on these campanies is demonstrated. The activity of NRU in Verkhovna Rada during the period of 1998 - 2002 is analyzed. Internal party situation in NRU in 2000 - at the beginning of 2002 is viewed in the context of its social and politic activity.
