Essay

The research of literary-artistic and publicistic Duklya journal (1953-2004) as edition of the Ukrainian national minority in Slovakia is carried out in this work. Social and political, cultural, historical and journalist pre-conditions of an almanac origin are outlined; programme principles of the editors and process of their realization; the contribution of leading creators of edition into its positioning is elucidated. The basic idea-thematic and genre-stylish groups of artistic texts, printed in a Dulia journal are described; the role of press literature for development of the written language of national minority is defined. The literary-critical publicist is analyzed. The gist of the polemic speeches and discussions from the theoretically-methodological problems of literary creation is found out. Problem theoretical and genre measuring of literary critical discourse of journal are outlined. Literary achievements of Duklia journal are appraised, its place in a media context, in Ukrainian culturallife of Slovakia generally and in an intercultural dialog are marked.
