Kudla Y. Dry-stable period in cows, level of endotox-icosis and the efficiency of preventive therapy

Object of research: the level of endotoxicosis of drystable cows, pathology of gestation, farrowing and after-farrowing period, new-born calves. Purpose of research: the purpose of the work was elaboration, approbation and introduction into production of effective methods of metabolism correction in organism of dry-stable cows with the help of preventive medicamentous therapy for their health maintenance and birth viable income. Methods of research: clinical (examination, search of functional state of all organism systems); obstetrical clinical examination by three components - diagnostic, medical and prophylactics; hematological - morphology of blood; biochemical - biochemical content of blood serum in dynamics of drystable period which are not the same by their productivity; functional state of liver and the level of endotoxicosis; immunological state of organism and hormonal activity of thyroid gland during third trimester of cows gestation; the level valuation of viability of calves income by Aphara scale. Numerical data of search were worked out with the help of biometrical methods. Scientific novelty: for the first time, in industrial investigations, it was proved experimentally the positive influence on the organism of farrow cows, which were fed with artificial Karlova salt rich in chlorous cobalt with parenatal injections of iodinlipid preparation and tetravite for the prophylactics of endotoxicosis of farrow cows, it was also proposed the scheme of using such preparations. Based on studying about the clinical state of farrow cows with the indices of endotoxicosis and functional state of liver it was found out the dependence of these indices from the level of acidose and ketose in farrow cows. The role of optimal sugarprotein correlation of the ration and its influence on the common state, level of acetose and toxicosis of farrow cows was determined. It was elaborated the diagnostical and prognosis clinical tests for determination the display of early toxicos in far-row cows and was got new factsabout the effectiveness of combined using of artificial Karlova salt with kobalt and parenteral injections of iodinlipid preparation and tetravite.
