Kudlach-Melnyk V. Political association "Ruska Rada" (1870 - 1914).

In the dissertation analysing the activity of the political association "Russka Rada" (RR) of Rusophil's trend in Halychyna in the last third of the XIX th c. - at the beginning of the XX th c. It is determined the state of the scientific treatment of problems and sourse's basis. In the work the historical pre-conditions, the character of decline and development of Rusophil's trend in Halychyna are cleared up, programmatic and organizing bases of "Russka Rada", its influenсe in the public life are analysed, the relations with narodovles, public institutions, powerful structures are traсed. The activity of the association was accompanied by both periods of increasing influenсe among the population, allowance its leading position in the national movement in 1870 - 1880 and fall of the activity, loosing its political leadership and crisis phenomenons. The causes, the essence of the split, which lead to the devision to "freshmen" and "sophomores", creation the moscowphil "Ruska Rada" and "Galician-Russka Rada" are revealed. The research of the breaking period in RR, the transition to the of outspoken moskowphils - reactionary force in the Ukrainian national of Galicia has been done.
