The thesis is devoted to the research of existential characteristics of sport and their interpretation in modern social communicative space. We conduct the analysis of existential characteristics of sport. In order to conduct the research of existential aspects of sport we investigatethe unique bodility of the sportsman which is explained with the help of a new concept “author’s bodility”. We propose a new vision of sport where sport is seen as specifically human “thirst for recognition” which is explained with the help of a new concept of “aristotimia”. We differentiate anthropocentric and sociocentric markers of contemporary sport. We ground the possibilities to use moral-ethical values of sport agon in other competitor spheres of social space which are connected with the plurality of values and modes of life.
