Essay

The object of social philosophical investigation was the integration of Buddhism Tibet Karma Kag’yu tradition into Western culture. The purpose was the definition of determinants that promote the integration of Tibet Buddhism Karma Kag’yu tradition into Western culture. The additional goal was to understand the reasons,directions and possible consequences of this process. The analysis based on dialectical, comparative, holistic,system, determinist and activity methods. To prevent the absolutisation of the given methods the principle of complementary was used. Results: theoretical generalization of Kag’yu tradition’s development is carried out; the determinants of optimization of this process are defined. Priority: the role of Buddhism Kag’yu tradition in the European and Ukrainian culture was investigated; the study of Kag’yu tradition influencing on European mentality is founded; Kag’yu in the West is defined as European interpretation of Buddhistic tradition; the determinants of including Buddhism Kag’yu tradition into European mentality are discovered as related Human, European, National and Individual factors.
