Gritsenko Y. Complex Treatment of Enteral Insufficiency at Acute Ileus and Diffuse Peritonitis in Children

Object - enteral insufficiency in children with different nosological forms acute ileus and diffuse peritonitis; the purpose - the improvement of the results of surgical treatment of acute ileus and diffuse peritonitis in children by means of optimization of small bowel intubation and its postoperative sanitation, perfection of enteral deintoxication therapy complex; methods - clinical, laboratory, biochemical, roentgenological, ultrasonic, physical and chemical, microbiological, statistical; novelty - The main clinical and diagnostic criteria of enteral insufficiency syndrome in children with acute ileus and diffuse peritonitis have been identified. Positive effect of small bowel intubation in postoperative period has been ascertained. Comparative research aimed at evaluating clinical effectiveness of different methods of small bowel intubation has been carried out. The method of treatment of enteral insufficiency by means of introducing drugs through intubational tube have been developed; results - Small bowel intubation and enteral transtube therapy application allowed to diminish endogenic intoxication phenomena, reduce the time of recovery of bowel peristalsis, decreased the postoperative complications rate, and cut the duration of in-patient management. The designed construction of intestinal tube prevents potential complications during the small bowel intubation; is introduced - into medical practice, in educational process; area - medicine.
