Skvortsov I. The depression of the features in inbreeding generations of sunflower and creation of lines with the use of various initial forms

Subject: an determination of trait depression of inbreeding generation (I1-I3), creation of valuable inbreeding lines (I4) and experimental test-hybrids of sunflower. Aim: the determination of inbreeding depression influence on the base economical sunflower traits, determination of especialities and selection of valuable initial forms and creations of perspective sunflower inbreeding lines an hybrids. Methods: breeding, field, laboratory, biochamical, phytopathological, statistical. Novelty: it is determined especialities and selected valuable initial forms of sunflower; regularities of depression display an base economical traits of inbreeding material; termins of investigated sunflower traits stabilization beginning; coefficients of correlation of main economical traits of initial sunflower forms and lines; it is determined especialities of inbreeding lines resistant to downy mildew agent creations. Results: it is determined valuable initial sunflower forms. It is created inbreeding lines with high level of combinative ability and resistance to Downy Mildew agent. It is created group of perspective experimental sunflower hybrids. Application stage: created lines are included to breeding programs of scientific Institutes of Ukraine: Luganskij Institute of Agricultural Industry, Plant Production Institute n.a. V.Ya. Yuriev, Institute of Oil Crops. It is included to the National genbank of Ukraine 2 lines Rf K250B and K 262B. Application area: breeding establishments, AIC of Ukraine.
