Semenchuk V. The reproduction of potato seeds from different kinds of basic material in the South-Western part of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine

Subject: process of formation of yield and seed quality of basic seed material, obtained from improved pre-basic material. Aim: the establishment of effective methods of improved pre-basic material, obtained by different methods of in vitro plants cultivation, use in original seed growing at in vitro - in vivo stage. Methods: field, field and laboratory, laboratory, mathematical and statistical. Novelty: the high effectiveness of plantlets cultivation in pots comparative to cultivation in roulettes at in vitro - in vivo stage is proved. The higher speed of propagation of plants from pots into the open field due to higher yield and greater quality of tubers from one plant is established. Results: the efficiency of plants from pots use for quick propagation of improved pre-basic material during the elite potato propagation according to shortened scheme is proved. Application stage: results of research are used during the basic seed material propagation at seed farms of Chernovtzy region. Application area: seed potato growing.
