Object of research: kidneys diseases of cats. The purpose of research - to define a leading links of pathogenesis chronic kidneys insufficiency at cats, on the basis to develop the complex of diagnosis measures and effective treatment sick animals with use antiischemic preparations. Methods of research: clinical; biochemical: determination in urine oxyprolin, uronic acids, calcium, phosphorus, urea, creatinine; in blood serum - total protein, glycoproteins, chondroitin sulfates, urea, creatinine, mean molecules, cholesterol, ?-lipoproteins, sialic acids, glucose, activity of alkaline phosphatase, alanine (AlAT) and asparagines (AsAT) aminotransferases, Veltman's test; instrumental (sonografic); morphological; statistical. Scientific novelty of work: for the first time indices excretion of oxyprolin and uronic acids with urine, and also mean molecules value in blood serum of clinically healthy cats and with chronic kidneys insufficiency. To defined a leading links of pathogenesis chronic kidneys insufficiency of cats with participation of components of connective tissue; mean molecules values in blood serum as indices of endogenous intoxication in cats; it is calculated and application of indices of blood and urine is clinically grounded at cats with chronic kidneys insufficiency. In the first the treatment regimen of cats with chronic kidneys insufficiency to include preparations with antiischemic effect (solkoseryl, pentoxyphylline). It is offered: methods of diagnosis of chronic kidneys insufficiency at cats with use of clinical, laboratory and instrumental indices; in the treatment regimen of cats with chronic kidneys insufficiency to include preparations with antiischemic effect (solkoseryl, pentoxyphylline). It is introduced: obtained results are used in scientific investigations and educational process, at studying "The biochemistry of animals", "The clinical diagnostic" "The clinical biochemistry" and "Internal diseases of animals" (Kharkiv State Zooveterinary Academy, Poltava State Agrarian Academy, National Pharmaceutics University) and practice of the veterinary medicine.
