Essay

The objects are an electronic Russian-language dictionaries. The aim is the system linguistic description of structural and semantic features explanatory Russian-language dictionaries. The methods are descriptive, comparative, statistical, structural, system linguistic analysis. Status of electronic dictionary is grounded as a specific lexicographic work. The types of electronic explanatory dictionaries are defined and classified taking into account their structural features and frequency of the use, system of search in electronic dictionaries, types of hyperlinks. The ways of optimization of separate types of definitions are suggested in electronic dictionaries. Application sphere is the training courses.
