Boryak T. Boryak T. Archival and library collections of Ukrainian emigration from the Czechoslovak Republic: history of transfer and processing in Ukraine (1945-2007).

The dissertation analyzes archival and library segment of the "Prague Archives". The research explores conditions and chronological periods of their transfers. It has discovered number and subject parameters of the "Prague Archives" documents and their location. The dissertation investigates documents' "operational" processing. The author has found one of the main results of this processing: Card Collection that numbers about 300.000 cards in TsDAVO. By item-to-item looking of the former secret archival depository in DNAB, the author has identified the library segment of the "Prague Archives" (about 20.000 of printed units). The research analyses thoughts of the contemporary historiography regarding expediency and possibility of virtual reconstruction of the initial composition of the "Prague Archives" and proposes tools of this reconstruction. The dissertation shows further directions for the research on the topic.
