Polishchuk V. State of case detection and regular medical check-up principles of patients with idiopatic fibrosing alveolitis

Object of research - idiopathic fibrosing alveolitis (IFA). The aim of investigation - to study the state of revelation, treatment and elaboration of the scheme of dispensary observation of patients with idiopathic fibrosing alveolitis. The methods of research - general, radiological, functional, analysis of blood gases and acid-base state of the blood, statistics. Results - for the first time in Ukraine was studied and analyzed quality of diagnostic and treatment of patients with idiopathic fibrosing alveolitis. Low rate of diagnostic and therapy of IFA was revealed, it was proved the necessity of improvement of knowledge of general practitioners about this pathology. It was established the decrease of all indices of quality of life in patients with idiopathic fibrosing alveolitis. It was proved, that indices of quantitative assessment of dyspnea according scale and quality of life according questionairy certainly correlate with the degree of restrictive impairments of lung ventilation and intensity of hypoxemia. Use of them in addition to objective indices of lung ventilation and blood gases as criteria of dispensary observation leads to the improvement of control of course of the disease, raise of efficacy of treatment, optimization of prognosis of the disease.
