Solodovnikova N. Mythological aspect of metaphor in the Russian publicist discourse

This Dissertation is devoted to the lingocultural aspect of analysis of metaphor with the source-domain Nature in the Russian publicist discourse of Ukraine. According to the semantical approach to the analysis of metaphorical expressions we pointed out the most actual component in the semantical structure of metaphor, connotative surrounding of metaphor was also analyzed. We realized lingocultural analysis and pointed out the mythological component in the semantic structure of metaphor. In the base of cognitive analysis we described the most actual models of metaphors. The logical direction of the cognitive analysis is presented in the building of frame structure of source-domain and explication of the pragmatic meaning of metaphor.
