Essay

The objective is the art education in Halychyna in the second half of the XIXth century and at the beginning of the XXth century. The aim is to ex-pose the main tendencies, the peculiarities of the development and the organizational-pedagogical principles of the art education in Halychyna in the second half. The Practical Value: the special course "Art Education of Halychyna" has been woorked out and the textbooks "Art Education Development in Halychyna" has been published. The materials of the candidates thesis may be used during lecturing of the courses in History of Pedagogics, Art Education, Discriptive Art and in the process of writing textbooks. Methods: pros-pecting and bibliographical, theoretical, historical- and comparable, retrospective, chronological, personal- and biographical.
