The complex, integrated and elaborate analysis of N.A. Korf's main pedagogical publications was carried out in the dissertation for the first time. This has helped to bring N.A. Korf's methodological and didactic principles to light and interpret them as the basis of his pedagogical and educational activity. Main scientific principles of the top European pedagogical achievements embodiment and their merger with Ukrainian folk pedagogical traditions in N.A Korf's works have been further developed.
