Burkun O. Features of formation of sugar beet seeds with different methods of sowing crossing components under irrigation conditions of Crimea

The thesis deals with the results of studies on the problems of features of seed production of МС hybrids with different methods of sowing of crossing components. It was established, that with a direct method of seed production of МС hybrids it was possible to sow mixture of components with could allow to use hybridization plots more efficiently. With sowing components mixture and with additional pollination seed yields and quality were improved, monogermness and monogermination were reduced. An efficient method of increasing monogermination of hybrid seeds, produced with sowing components mixture, is seed grading in the process of post-harvesting preparation on slotted-hole screens Efficiently grounded in the thesis are suggestions to production, namely: sowing with components mixture with content of pollinator 10% + additional pollination and removing seedballs of pollinator on screens with slotted-holes of 3,5 mm with post harvesting threatment which guaranteed seed yield and quality increase and practically the same monogermness and monogermination as with separate sowing. The results of research were implemented on farms of Jankoy region of the AR Crimea on the area of 25-30 ha. Annual economic effect amounted to 26.2-42.7 thousand hrs.
