The thesis is devoted to the research of initial theoretical and methodological aspects of the professional self-perfection stimulation of elementary school teachers in the system of post-graduate education. The essence and the importance of the phenomenon in the forming of positive motivation in the process of continuous professional self-perfection of elementary school teachers is established on the basis of existing scientific conceptions and appropriate views on the problem. The content of the concept "self-perfection" is made more precise. The conceptual approaches to the solution of the problem are reasoned. The model of the professional self-perfection stimulation of elementary school teachers in the system of post-graduate education is theoretically based and experimentally checked. Organizational and pedagogical conditions which determine the results of the process are created. Program-methodical maintenance of the process of the professional self-perfection stimulation of elementary school teachers in the system of post-graduate education is worked out and displayed.
