Methods of research: clinical, anatomic, histological, cy-tomorphological, biochemical, immunological, atomic-abcosorbtional spectrophotometria, statistical. Scientific novelty: for the first time is used complex research of an cow's placenta histostructure in connection with pe-netration through placental barrier of cadmium and lead in dynamics of pregnancy, the influence of the additive to a diet of saponite both sulfur and introduction of a tissue preparation on cytological and biochemical structure of blood, parameters of non-specific resistance and penetration of cadmium and lead through the cow's placental barrier during the dry period is investigated. Concentration of cadmium and lead in maternal and foetus parts of placenta, Varton's jelly tissue of umbilical cord, amniotic and allantoic liquids for the first time are determined and can be accepted as rough parameters at scientific researches of placenta barrier function. Degree of introduction: the results of job are used in the agricultural enterprises of a different type and in educational process of Zhitomir, Podilsk, Harkiv, Bila Tserkva and Lugansk agrarian higher educational institutions.
