Petkun S. The phenomenon of Ukrainian language in cultural heritage of A. U. Krymsriy

The dissertation investigates the formation of A. Krymskiy's worloutlook and establishment of his Ukrainianity through ideas of nation and national selfdetermination. It is clarified that A. Krymskiy worked to investigate the categories "Ukrainianity", "Ukrainian idea", "nation", "nationalizm". It reveals the problem of interrelation between orientalizm and modernism in Ukrainian literature. It analizes the activity of the scientist in the process of establishment of the Ukrainian Academy of sciences. Due to A. Krymskiy the historic and philology deparetment in Ukrainian Academy of Sciences was created, the conception of which was based on the idea of national renaissance and the process of scientific ukrainianity formation started. Great attention is paid to Ukrainian language as Ukrainianity factor in formation of Krymskiy's outlook and national positions. The study of language phenomenon is done on different levels of philosophic overthinking: social, analytic and linguistic. Key words: A.
