Balagura O. Sources of spiritual culture in Braichevsky's creative inheritance

Dissertation, which is grounded on complex analysis of source base and historiographical researches, is devoted to the sources of Ukrainian spiritual culture in creative heritage of M. Yu. Braichevsky. Main trends of Braichevsky's activity are based on the analysis of the ground of knowledge of Ukrainian. Conception of ethnogeny of Ukrainian people by Braichevsky was investigated, archeological cultures were analyzed in the first place Chernjakhivska culture and written memorials. Possibility to reconstruct the process of evolutional cultural types in this particular territory, i. e. to claim or to deny continuity and heredity of cultural development is proved by setting advancing changing of historical cultures during the time. A question of formation and setting of Christianity and appearance of the first samples of secular fiction literature in the scientist's heredity is examined in details. Search of documents of personal archive fund of the scientist concerning Braichevsky's cultural activity isprobed. Key words: ukrainianity, M. Yu.
