Essay

The Dissertation determines the role and importance of clerisy in revival of cultural life of Ukraine in 1943-45 years on the basis of analysis of archive and published documents, national and foreign historiography, materials of periodicals and memoirs. The main processes of revival and re-evacuation of art organizations on free Ukrainian lands were also highlighted. The essential emphasis was put on the analysis of activity of clerisy as object and subject of revival of cultural life of Ukraine. Regional features of cultural and art processes are of great importance. The main directions of activity of clerisy were characterized.
