Iatsura O. Anthroponyms in modern poetry and prose by A.Voznesenskiy and Ye. Yevtushenko (structural and functional aspects)

This thesis analyzes the peculiarities of coinage of individual and original anthroponyms, the functions of occasional and precedent names in pieces of literature written by A.Voznesenskyi and Ye. Yevtushenko. The analysis of occasionalisms proved that the coined individual and original onyms perform information and esthetic function; word-making morphemes provide extra meaning and perform descriptive function; coinage of occasional anthroponyms has a number of peculiarities; stylistic and compositional methods enhance the expressive effect. Key functional and semantic features of precedent names coined are as follows: their denotats are widely known, they may have highly probable connotations, their evaluative parameters enter the area of implicational meaning; they are subject to semantic transformations.
