Iliuk I. The efficiency of Thiotriazolin in complex treatment of patients with Community Acquired Pneumonia with manifestations of endogenous intoxication

Object of research - Community Acquired Pneumonia with manifestations of endogenous intoxication. The aim of investigation was to increase efficiency of treatment of patients with Community Acquired Pneumonia with manifestations of endogenous intoxication, thanks to inclusion in standard therapy metabolic corrector thiotriazolin. The methods of research - clinical, physical, laboratory-instrumental, rentgenological, cytological, biochemistry, reological properties of phlegm and indexes of endogenous intoxication was obtained, using pharmacoeconomical analysis of treatment in patients with Community Acquired Pneumonia, statistic methods. Results - additional inclusion of Thiotriazolin in complex therapy increased efficiency of treatment of patients with Community Acquired Pneumonia with manifestations of endogenous intoxication - highest clinical and economical efficiency of treatment was observed comparing with patients of control group, the symptoms of syndrome of endogenous intoxication removed quicker, influences positively the course of disease, decrease the term of hospitalization up to (3,20 ± 0,16) days (p<0,001).
