Varich M. Bilingual press in the conditions of biligvizm in Ukraine (1997-2007): history, practice trends of development

The dissertation deals with complex research of Ukrainian bilingual editions. Specific of contemporary, bilingual society is taken into consideration. Historical, psychological, social, legislative factors which caused the origin and development of bilingual editions have been regarded. The main milestones of the development of Ukraines bilingual editions are given in this dissertation. The influence of these factors on the lingual space of Ukraine is shown It is also that there political course of the state and the number of bilingual editions in the country. It is confirmed that in spite of long period of existence of bilingual editions in the country. It is confirmed that in spite of long period of existence of bilingual editions the main trends of their development have not been investigated well enough. The semantic, thematic and geure filling of 4 newspapers has been analyzed in detail in the dissertation
