Object of investigation. The state of existing system of giving the medico-social aid for children-invalids who live in tawn Kharkov. The purpose. On the basis of carrying out the complex medico-social investigation to ground and work out the system of giving the medico-social aid for children-invalids.The methods of investigation and devices: the total and selective methods of observation with use of series, mechanical, medico-social, librarygraphical and other methods of collection of information. The regressive (simple, plural), correlative analysises, methods of mathematics modeling and monitoring, the method of systemic approaches and analysis, the structural and logical ones and others.The theoretical and practical results. The working out of grounded system of giving the medico-social aid for children-invalids and methods of improvement of life quality and their ensuring with this help; inculcating of the conceptive model of medico-social rehabilitation for children-invalids, working out the method of integral and quantitive evaluation of their medico-social help and the method of investigation of life level quality of these children; working out of informatic - prognostic matrix and the model of influence of everyday limitations on life quality of children-invalids, the revealing of social-psychological features of children-invalids. Novelty. For the first time in Ukraine it was scientifically grounded and introduced the mechanisms of improved system of giving the medico-social aid for children-invalids taking into consideration their individual population features; it was worked out the conceptive model of medico-social rehabilitation of children-invalids; it was invented the method of integrative and quantitive evaluation of ensuring with medico-social help for this category of population on individual, family and population levels; it was grounded the method of determination of demands ahd dependence of children-invalids health on the medico-social help quality and rational use of it at regionallevel; it was worked out and adapted to native conditions the method of investigation of life quality of children-invalids and its objective evaluation was carried out; it was composed the informatic and prognostic matrix and the model of influence of everyday lemitations on life quality of children-invalids at regional level, it was complexy investigated the social-psychological features of children-invalids and established the basic laws of their formation.
