Object: US higher economic and business education as a social and pedagogical phenomenon; aim: to effect historical and pedagogical analysis of this branch formation, development and modern state, to substantiate the ways of using the US experience when improving the native system of economic and business education; methods: scientific search, analysis, synthesis, chronological, comparative, statistical methods; novelty: US higher economic and business education genesis is analyzed, periods of reforms are defined, degrees in economic and business education are systematized; trends of this branch development in modern conditions are studied; recommendations on improving economic cadres training in Ukraine are suggested; the results can be used for pedagogical disciplines content improvement, when writing manuals, degree projects, theses and also in postgraduate education and in economic and business education establishments practice; field - General Pedagogy and History of Pedagogy.
