Essay

The main attention is paid to objective historical preconditions of Ukrainian peacemakers involving into the process of settling armed conflicts, and defining main trends and laws of the development of hostility forms and methods during peacemaking operations. The experience of Ukrainian Armed Forces participation in supporting international peace and safety is summarized. Specific recommendations as to the improvement of Ukrainian Armed Forces units participation in peacemaking operations are provided.
