The object: is the formation and development of musical education in Transcarpathia (1919 -1939). The purpose of the investigation is to ex-amine peculiarities of the formation and develop-ment of musical education in Trans-Carpathian Region at the time of its joining Czechoslova-kia.The practical importance: methodological recommendations and innovations of musical education have been introduced in relationship with the aspects of educational and out-of-school activities in 1919-1939 when research experience of professional musical education has been taken into consideration; practical recommendations for music and singing teachers have been prepared. The methods: concrete-searching, chronological, searching-bibliographical, logic-synthetic.
