The object: pedagogical thought in the epochs of the Axial cultures and the Middle Ages. The aim: is to systematize the pedagogical approaches to the problem of humanistic direction in the epochs of the Axial cultures and the Middle Ages. Practi-cal value: the textbook "Development of humanis-tic educational paradigm from the epochs of axial cultures to the late Middle Ages", the author's syl-labus of the special course "Humanistic direction of future teacher" are made up. Methods of theo-retical research: analysis, synthesis; abstraction, idealization, concretization, comparison.
