Essay

This thesis is devoted to the historical-pedagogical analysis of the formation and the development of the music education in Bukovyna during the researched period. It is proved that at the end of the XVIII - the beginning of the XX century the system of music education existed in the region and it had a certain stepped character and was divided into private, state and public education. For the first time, the evolution of the content of the music education in the educational establishments of Bukovyna is revealed, the curriculum, methodological support of the teaching of the music and aesthetic subjects in primary (popular school), secondary (classical gymnasia), professional (teacher seminaries) and specialized (music school) educational establishments of the region are analysed; the organization of the qualified music preparation for the students of teacher seminaries both of state and private origin are considered. The analysis of the text-books, manuals and song-books compiled by Bukovynian artistsS.Vorobkevych and Y.Fedkovych and used in the system of music education in the establishments of primary and secondary education is made. The problem of music education and up-bringring estimated by the teachers of the region concerning teaching the subject "Singing" in the educational establishments of Bukovyna is stadied. The historical experience of the development of the music education in Bukovyna concerning its creative usage in the modern system of education in Ukraine is made the matter of current interest.
