Reshetchenko D. The grain trade in the Right-Bank of Ukraine (1796-1853 years).

Dissertation is an integrated research of the internal and external grain trade in the south-west region of Russian empire in 1796-1853 years. It was investigated peculiarities of the grain trade in the Right-Bank of Ukraine. Conditions of forming marketable grain in different lands and their parts in the grain trade were described. The role of the Right-Bank of Ukraine in providing with provisions for army in south-west and others provinces of Russian empire was investigated. Peculiarities of the internal and external grain trade in these provinces at local level were established. Commercial relations of the Right-Bank of Ukraine with neighbor territories and European countries as well as Turkey were observed. Presented diagrams, tables and maps allow us to imagine volumes of the internal and external grain trade at the end of ХVІІІ - first half of ХІХ centuries according native zones and the contribution of different social groups in the general quantity of sales. Results of this study showed that describing peculiarities and geopolitical location caused the specific character of development of the grain trade in the Right-Bank of Ukraine during this period.
