Essay

The activity of editorial staff of "Rada" newspaper is comprehensively examined in the dissertation. The historical terms of the periodical edition are analyzed. The position of the magazine concerning the most essential events of sociopolitical and socioeconomic life of the country is clarified. The main attention is payed to enlightening the key directions of the newspaper staff activity, as its aim was the national renaissance of Ukrainian people, the support of fluent development of Ukrainian language, education, literature, and popularization of theatre and musical art as well as other spheres of Ukrainian culture.
