Vilianska O. Complex assessment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease treatment efficiency in the industrial factories workers

Research subjects: COPD in industrial factories workers. The aim of the investigation: efficiency assessment of broncholitic therapy of COPD in industrial factories workers. Methods: clinical, functional, laboratory-biochemical, immunological, beam, statistic. Theoretical and practical results: Data of peculiarities of COPD current in industrial factories workers in compare with COPD non-professional etiology were obtained. Schemes of basic broncholitic therapy of these patients subject to disease stage were offered. Assessment of professional COPD complex therapy influence on inflammation, breath function and quality of life was done. Novelty: For the first time domination of systemic and regional inflammation, functional breath disfunction, bronchus reactivity disfunction and quality of life decrease in COPD industrial factories workers in compare with COPD patients whose work does not include dust harmfulness was shown. For treatment of industrial factories workers with COPD I and II stages schemes of broncholitic therapy with consideration of clinic and functional peculiarities of disease were offered. The effectiveness of these schemes was proved, including their positive influence on patients’ quality of life.
