The thesis is devoted to research value of Mihajlovsky Zlatoverhij monastery in the spiritual and socio-economic life of Ukraine in 1620-1786. The study analyzed the features of business monasteries, preconditions and causes of economic development of active monastery, features highlights of forming land sanctuary and monastery identified contribute to the development of agricultural production and industry of all. Analyzes major changes in the situation of monastic subjects in a designated period and the main form of dependence of peasants from the monastery's administration. The influence of prior activity Mihajlovsky Zlatoverhij monastery on the socio-political, scientific and cultural development of society.
