Matviyenko O. Women's participation in politico-social life of Ukraine in the 90s XX - beginning of ХХI century.

Manuscript thesis is been defended which analyze women's participation process in Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and women's public association activity in Ukraine at the turn of XX - XXI centuries. It is found that role of women essentially increased in conditions of self-democratic progress in national and politico-social life of Ukraine. It has been discovered principles of women's activity in power-holding structures of Ukraine by the example of Verkhovna Rada and impact of social women's organizations on political life of country. A principle of activity of women's associations in Ukraine has been analyzed at present phase. Recommendations have been made relative to gender legislation improvement and activities of power-holding structures which control gender equality in country. These recommendations could be used by governmental and political institutions of Ukraine for farther theoretical study and practical use.
