The thesis studies the influence of the tissue preparation of fetoplacentate, saponite and sulphur on the course of calving in heifers and the postcalving period in first-calf cows. It substantiftes the means and methods of correcting the intensification of sex organs involution and the condition of neonatal calves. Some aspects of interrelationship between the diet feeding power and homeostasisin heifers have been found out. The clinical and hematological status of heifers during the last month of fetation both in the conditionally safe and the fourth zones of radiocontamination was characterized by fluctuations in cytological and biochemical blood composition, immune status indices as well as progesterone and estradiol content. Feeding heifers with mineral additives as a part of saponite and sulphur mixture as well as endermatic administration of fetoplacentate tissue preparation adiusted metabolism in the body which manifested itsell in the decrease in the third stage of calving, reduction in the period from calving to the first insemination, increase in T-lymphocyte content, improvement in the condition of neonatal calves.
