Essay

An object - a process of fabric dressing, an aim - the composition development based on the acryl copolymers and technologies of their application for the cotton fabrics dressing, the aforesaid provides an increase of fabric quality upon a decrease of finishing prime costs; the methods are analytical, gravitational, viscosimetric, optical; the novelty - for the first time in chemical technology of fibrous materials a critical surface energy of the films formed from the reactive and potentially reactive acryl copolymers and fabrics coupled by these copolymers has been established; it has been revealed that despite a relatively large surface energy of free films (66,0 - 69,7 mJ/m2) the surface fabric energy after the polymer dressing is decreased, i.e. during the dressing process a surplus compensation of non surplus surface fabric energies and finish polymer occurs, the aforesaid proves their interaction and decrease of the dirt retention of the dressed fabric; it has been established that the surface energy of the dressed fabrics depends on a content of acryl copolymer on fiber surface; it has been for the first time proved that a stabilization of the linear dimensions of cotton fabrics may be established by low (by 5 -10 times lower than it is typically admitted) concentrations of precondensates of thermosetting resins compounded by the acryl polymers; its destination - finishing production in textile industry.
