Zakharchenko A. The emergence and development of media arts in the system of mass communications

The work determine the main patterns of occurrence and development of media art and the criteries of it's appearance in the system of mass communications. In detail the thesis analyzed the system of media arts, fully descripted it, established relationships within the structure of its components. In the thesis also developed methods that can be used for determining the emergence of new media arts in social communication. This technique is the analysis of information links, which appeared in the in the system of media arts, and search among them the so-called type-creating links. This methodology is applied to existing at this time system of media arts, development of which is under the influence of postmodern philosophy and the relates with development of computer technology and the Internet. In this way, found that in the period from about 1975 to 2000 have begun to develop two new media arts: the so-called computer literature, for which we suggested the name "multitext" (divided into families of hypertext and multimedia literature) and interactive art (such forms, as visual, audial, audiovisual, text, mixed).
