Chernyshevych O. The formation and development of the institute of Presidency in the political system of Ukraine (1991 - 2006): historical aspect.

The dissertation is devoted to complex research of the institute of Presidency in Ukraine in 1991 - 2006. Pre-conditions of origin of the institute of Presidency and the process of its becoming were investigated on the basis of wide circle of archived sources. Also stages of development of this institute were expounded and their description. It was showed all changes of this institute in one or another period and their pluses and minuses in the context of political situation were found out. Contradictions between the branches of power were analyzed carefully and their influence on the institute of presidency. Reasons of leadthrough of political reform were set and the institute of Presidency in it. It is found out all actions of president in domestic policy of country and leadthrough reforms by him. External activity of country's leader is considered in the context of becoming of Ukraine in the international scene.
