Halayko B. Training the young people in the activity of the Ukrainian military organization

Object: Ukrainian military organization, as an important factor of the mobilization of young people for continuation of national liberation movement in the conditions of the occupation of Ukrainian earths by the nearby states. Objectives: comprehensively to light up a place and role of the Ukrainian young people in Ukrainian military organization; national and patriotic, ideological and military teaching of the young generation of Ukrainians within the framework of the activity of UMO in the conditions of the Polish occupation regime. Methods: scientific principles of historical method, objectivity, system, complex and critical approach, descriptive, comparative, problem and chronological, structural and systematical methods. Results: the activity of Ukrainian military organization has been reflected in the Ukrainian youth environment of East Galicia in 1920s in the conditions of the occupation, filling the blank of scantily explored aspects of national liberation movement in 1920-1950s. Use: for writing of research works and teaching courses from history of Ukraine, Ukrainian national liberation movement in 20-50s of the twentieth century, military history, and also in the process of the national-patriotical education of modern Ukrainian youth.
