Solovyeva T. Socio-pedagogical basis of work with parents of children with special needs.

The research determines the essence of work with parents of children with special needs and elicits peculiarities of socio-pedagogical base of such work; the obtained results are grounded on theoretical analyses of scientific works, dedicated to the problem of socio-pedagogical work with parents of children, who require special needs and attention and on the practical appliance of own results. It is revealed and applied in practice the following basis of socio-pedagogical work with parents of disabled children: consideration the disadaptation of parents of children with special needs from social point of view; discrimination of content, forms and methods of socio-pedagogical work in accordance with peculiarities of parental adaptation to living conditions complicated by special needs of a child, and technical improvement of socio-pedagogical work with this category of people. The investigation also focuses on determining criteria and levels of parental disadaptation to living conditions complicated by special needs of a child and efficient forms and methods of work with parents of children with such needs; the latter has been worked out and applied in practice.
