Essay

The object: education of school youth in the USA. The aim: by means of analysis and generalization of theoretical aspects and practical experience to investigate the particularities of content, forms and methods of civic education in the USA. Practical value: positive ideas can be realized in educational process of Ukrainian schools and universities, materials can be included in text-books on comparative pedagogy to renew curriculum, to create courses which help to develop civic conscious. The methods: analysis, synthesis, generalization, inductive and deductive methods.
