Dissertation research is devoted to the complex analysis of virtualization in religious life of modern Ukraine, which allowed to separate the main tendencies of religious life, which are formed under the act of virtualization. The religious communities, the prominent line of which is an orientation on internet users, are marked by the author as "virtual religions". They were given a characteristic and were offered the classification. The transformations allow to state that global virtual space forming determines the new place of religion in the informative world, above all things - religion becomes one of the informative society resources.
