Bohachyk T. Bessarabia of the pre-reform period (1812-1868): socio-economic social and educational development.

Socio-economic, social, and educational development of Northern Bessarabia during the pre-reform period is considered in the thesis. The peculiarities of executive and administrative structures functioning of the region are defined. The demography situation of the region and its ethnographic structure testify that Ukrainian population was indigenous and major. The state of agrarian branch was characterized by combination of feudal relations and bourgeois forms of housekeeping. Visible retardation of the region in its economical development reflected on the trading manners considerably. Social connections between the main categories of population remained disputable. The level of development of education didn't meet the educational needs of Northern Bessarabia society.
