Kozyreva M. German national areas of the South of Ukraine as political subdivisions in 20-30's of the XXth century

The influence of specific character of preceding development of the German areas of the region on the character of apportionment of the German areas in the time of the Soviet Union is revealed in the dissertation. The causes of the first German areas formation in the Ukrainian Social Soviet Republic are pointed out, the originality of the formation is defined on different stages of national zoning by the Soviet authority. The quantitative and temporal functioning dynamics of the German areas and the variety of getting the national status is ascertained. The originality of development under the National Economical Politics, the character of changes during the establishment of the command-administrative system and the causes of German areas liquidation in the South of Ukraine are researched.
