This paper deals with the problem of scientific heritage of the traditional Ukrainian's fair in the second half of the ХІХ - at the beginning of the XX century. In the thesis there is examined the main tendency of the studying of traditional culture of the fairs. The research explains the problems of organization, periodicity of carrying out and duration of Ukrainian's fairs of the second half of the ХІХ - at the beginning of the XX century. In the dissertation there is defined the influence of the fair on the developing of material and spiritual culture.
