In the thesis problems of creating and functioning of Hetman's government in 1734 - 1750 are considered on the base of archives and published documents, historiographic materials analysis. In particular, the politics of Russian empire according to the Hetmanschina in 30 - 40s of XVIII century and subjective and objective prerequisites of political changes in Ukraine in the middle of 30s are analyzed.
